In March 2010, the Vocational Rehabilitation Services program was replaced by the new Disability Employment Services - Disability Management Service.

Ostara will work with you to help you understand and manage your injury, disability or health condition with the aim to prepare and assist you for your re-entry into the workforce. Together we will develop a tailor made Personal Intervention Plan with strategies to overcome the challenges you are facing. Ostara will also assist with:

Assessment of your workplace challenges and your ability to participate in employment. Practical assistance and support with managing your injury, disability or health condition through rehabilitation or health interventions. Employment and job seeking preparation assistance that includes advice on safe and sustainable work opportunities. Workplace assessments and advice on job redesign, including workplace modification assistance. Post placement support for you and your employer to ensure a smooth re-entry into the workforce.

There are two ways to register:

1. You may choose to contact an Ostara Australia provider directly for assistance. We will be able to determine whether you are eligible for assistance and in some cases may need to refer you for a Job Capacity Assessment to determine your ability to work.
