 Bill Gye  

Bill Gye, Chief Executive Officer

Bill joined Ostara Australia as CEO after previously working as General Manager of Recovery Services for Schizophrenia Fellowship of NSW, and has been a Board Director for Ostara Australia for the past seven years. He has 35 years’ experience in employment, training and psycho-social rehabilitation programs for people with mental illness and other disadvantaged groups.

 Clinton Johnson  

Clinton Johnson, Operations Manager

Clinton has been in the disability employment sector since 2006 working in roles from Employment Consultant, to ESA Manager and now to his current role with Ostara Australia. He has a background in Business Law and Recreation Management and completed his Certificate IV in Disability. He entered this industry after attending his partner’s daughter’s Christmas school concert and seeing the way teachers interact with people with disabilities, which made him want to make a difference in the lives of people with a disability.


Maja Vranjkovic, Manager, Capability Development & Strategic Projects

Maja has extensive experience in the disability employment sector. She worked in Contract Management and Training roles in DES, has been an Operations Specialist for DEA and worked across the Job Network in various capacities including as an Employment Consultant, Job Placement Specialist and in Site Manager roles. She completed a Diploma of Training and Assessment and is currently doing a Diploma of Health Science. She loves seeing the positive social impact that employment has on the lives of disadvantaged Australians.


Helen McKenzie, Risk and Compliance

Helen started working in DES in 2010 working in roles from Post Placement Support Consultant, Operations Support to Operations Manager. With extensive experience in the disability employment sector Helen is now working for Ostara Australia in her current role where she is able to provide informed advice on performance, compliance and service delivery. She has a background in Management while completing a Diploma of Management as well as a Diplomas in Employment Services and Community Services Work.


Anna Berhang, Human Resources Strategic Manager

Anna has a strong background in Human Resources in the hospitality, automotive and disability employment services sector. Anna grew up with both parents owning and running a variety of small businesses. This provided her with a wealth of resources and a greater understanding of how businesses operate and encouraged her to develop skills to think outside the box. She appreciates and gains great satisfaction from the passionate nature of the staff at Ostara Australia and their meaningful contribution to improve people’s lives. On the weekends, it’s the simple things such as getting out into nature and playing board games with her immediate and extended family.
