We commenced our Reconciliation Action Plan journey in June 2024 with ambitious goals and a genuine commitment to creating meaningful and lasting change.

Since then, Ostara Australia has grown significantly. Our team has expanded, new sites have opened, our geographical footprint has increased, and we have developed stronger connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, participants, employees, employers and community organisations.

As our organisation has evolved, so too have our understanding, responsibilities and aspirations for reconciliation.

With the guidance of our Aboriginal consultants and Reconciliation Australia, we are seeking to extend the duration of our Reflect RAP and expand upon our existing commitments.

This extension will allow us to build on the foundations already established, strengthen our relationships and introduce new engagement strategies that genuinely reflect the organisation we are today—and the organisation we are continuing to become.

For Ostara, our RAP is not simply a document, a compliance requirement or a collection of commitments on paper.

It represents an ongoing cultural journey grounded in listening, learning, respect, accountability and meaningful action.

Extending our Reflect RAP will provide the time and cultural guidance needed to ensure our commitments are purposeful, achievable and embedded throughout our growing organisation.

We remain committed to walking this journey with humility, strengthening cultural understanding across our workforce and creating genuine opportunities and lasting change alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities.
