Ostara Australia offers employment services to assist people disadvantaged through age, health, disability or cultural background with finding and keeping sustainable employment.

We tailor our fully Government funded services towards your specific training, health and living needs through our one-on-one service and spend time getting to know you and your individual requirements.

Ostara Australia also works with welfare and community organisations to assist you in addressing any personal barriers you may be facing, so you can enjoy the benefits of working as soon as possible.

Supporting you on your mental health

For over 20 years, Ostara Australia has been helping Australians with mental health find meaningful employment.

We provide fully funded, personalised employment services for people with mental health. Our one-on-one support is tailored to your training, health, and living needs to help you secure and maintain sustainable work.

We also collaborate with community organisations to address personal barriers, ensuring you’re work-ready as soon as possible.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for our service if you have a mental health condition, are 14+ and below pension age, meet NSW’s working age, hold an eligible visa, are not studying full-time (exceptions apply), have an ESAt or JCA recommending IEA (8+ work hours/week), and are not working at your assessed capacity (some exceptions apply); special eligibility applies to school leavers with disabilities, Special Class Clients, and Work Assist participants; apply via Services Australia or direct registration, and let them know you prefer Ostara Australia contact us for support.

At Ostara Australia, your well-being matters. That’s why we offer funded psychology sessions through our trusted partner, Logic Lounge Psychology.

Disability Advocacy

Disability Advocacy promotes, protects, supports and defends the human rights of people with disability. Advocates act, speak, write or work on behalf of a person with disability to help them speak out to defend their rights and interests.
